Friends of SaddleBrooke Libraries (FSL) was formed in 2000 and is run separately from the libraries, but works very closely with the Library Management Committee to help provide funding. FSL and the SaddleBrooke Libraries are two of the few organizations which are jointly managed by volunteers from both HOA1 and HOA2. FSL has provided grants to the SaddleBrooke Libraries since its inception. Funding is generated by annual membership fees, gifts and donations of money and equipment, and event fundraisers.
Mission Statement:
- To provide funds for the needs of the three SaddleBrooke Libraries.
- To focus public attention on Library services, facilities and needs.
- To maintain a fee-based membership of persons interested in books and libraries.
- To sponsor enrichment opportunities for the community.
- To stimulate tax-exempt gifts.
