Friends of SaddleBrooke Libraries is always looking for more volunteers to serve on any of our committees, including Events, Game Day, Lecture Series, Membership, Public Relations, Author Events, etc.  Your membership form has a place to indicate your area of interest.  You are also welcome to attend any of the monthly FSL board meetings held on the fourth Tuesday at 1 PM in the MountainView Clubhouse.

HELP WANTED:

FRIENDS OF SADDLEBROOKE LIBRARIES EVENTS CHAIRMAN

Do you want to meet and work with talented people?  Do you want to have the chance to design and coordinate one of SaddleBrooke’s most anticipated annual events?  The Friends of SaddleBrooke Libraries are looking for an Events Coordinator for 2010.  No experience is necessary, but if you have ever been involved with organizing a fashion show, luncheon with entertainment, or other similar event you would be one step ahead of the game.  As with all volunteer positions, the pay is low (nonexistent) but the rewards are great.  It is also common for this to be a “co-chair” position, so maybe you could share this job with a friend or associate.  The position of Events Coordinator oversees a large committee so that the actual work is distributed over many eager and talented volunteers.   The FSL Fall Fashion Show and the summer Game Day event have both been highly successful fundraising events for several years.   However, FSL is open to new ideas for fundraising events to be held in our community.   For more information please contact Terri Ayer at 825-1833.  With your help the Friends of SaddleBrooke Libraries will continue to be one of most active and successful organizations in our community.
